The Turkish government has announced the amount of money and jewelry that can be carried to passengers using Turkish airports.
For travelers traveling abroad, they must inform the Customs Directorate at Ataturk International Airport if the amount they carry exceeds 25,000 TL (about 10,000 Euros) or equivalent to this value of jewelry.
For travelers coming to Turkey, they are allowed to take jewelry and valuables provided they do not exceed US $ 15,000 and are not for profit,
They are also allowed to take jewelry with the same conditions when leaving Turkey,
If the jewelry exceeds the value specified above, its purchase must be documented from Turkey or the relevant authorities have been notified when entering the country.
