Foreigners continue to prefer Turkey in real estate investment, where foreign home sales increase 23.8% during the month of last October compared to sales rates in the same month last year. Iraqis and Saudis are on top of the list of foreign investors in this field.
According to statistics released by the Turkish statistics assembly, the foreign home sales last month recorded an increase of 23.8% reaching 2236 homes compared to same month last year.
Istanbul ranked first among the cities that witnessed home sales of foreigners in the month of October by 780 houses, Ankara, followed by 567 houses, 136 houses by Bursa, 118 Yalova, 103 houses by Aydin, and then 102 homes by Mugla.
Iraqi home sales reached 430 houses in October, and followed by 325 houses for Saudis, and then the Russian Federation by 191 houses, then 142 houses for Kuwait, and finally England by 133 houses.
The total home sales in the month of October this year in Turkey has reached an increase of 8.8% compared with proportion reached by Turkey last year in the same month.
